  • Determine the appropriate methods of test for both prototype and production level hardware.
  • Engage in cross-company collaboration between electrical, firmware, design, and other teams.
  • Contribute and defend informed decisions from technical, business and user experience perspectives.

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in designing highly integrated electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • 12+ years of experience.
  • MS/BS in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably Solidworks
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior mechanical engineers
  • Experience working through DFM with suppliers  to reduce part cost and improve quality
  • Experience with FEA to optimize structures.
  • Thorough understanding of design for volume, including statistical tolerancing, DFA concepts and automation techniques
  • Desirable to have experience with reliability testing.
  • Desirable to have experience with propulsion systems in outdoor environments.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing a product or assembly through its entire lifecycle from initial concept to volume manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

What you can expect

  • A team of awesome, like-minded, driven people that support each other, and mentors from across the top echelons of industry
  • A competitive compensation and equity package as well as a 401(K) retirement savings plan
